Applying a Template

To apply a template:

1. Select the “Pre-made” or “My Templates” tab
2. Scroll through the available templates
3. Each template shows a color preview and tags
4. Tap “Apply” on the desired template
5. Confirm in the dialog

Attention

Applying a template overwrites your current settings. Save your current design as a custom template beforehand if you want to keep it.

Creating Custom Templates

Saving a Template

The save dialog offers advanced options in two tabs:

1. Design your theme in the Theme Suite
2. Go to the “My Templates” tab
3. Tap the ”+” FAB (Floating Action Button)
4. The save dialog opens with two tabs

Tab 1: Basics

In the first tab you enter the basic information:

Partial Saving

You don’t have to save everything! If you only want to adopt the colors of a template, deactivate the other options. This way you can save, for example, only the typography or only the widget themes.

Quick Selection:

• Select All: Activates all options
• Select None: Deactivates all options

Managing Custom Templates

Applying a Template

Your saved templates appear under “My Templates” with:

• Color preview
• “Custom” badge
• Name and description
• Creation date
• Apply button

Editing a Template

1. Find the template under “My Templates”
2. Tap the edit icon (pencil)
3. Change name, description or style category
4. Save

Changing Design

To change a template’s design, apply it, customize it and save it as a new template.

Deleting a Template

1. Find the template under “My Templates”
2. Tap the delete icon (trash)
3. Confirm in the dialog

Attention

Deleted templates cannot be restored.

Complete Template (all options activated)

A complete template contains:

• All Colors (Light and Dark Mode)
• Typography Settings (font sizes, families, weights)
• Spacing (XSmall to XLarge)
• Corner Radii (Small to Round)
• Elevation Levels
• Widget Themes (Buttons, Inputs, Cards, etc.)

Partial Template

With partial templates you can:

• Save only colors (for quick color changes)
• Save only typography (for font changes)
• Save only widget themes (for consistent components)

What is NOT Saved

• Uploaded Images (logo, icons)
• Page-Specific Settings (Splash Screen, Auth pages)
• AppBar Configuration (separate in AppBar Editor)
• BottomNav Configuration (separate in BottomNav Editor)

Tips

Save before major changes

Before making major design changes, save the current state as a template.

Descriptive names

Use descriptive names like “Christmas Design” or “Dark Mode v2” instead of “Template 1”.

Use style categories

Assign a style category to make it easier to filter and find your templates later.

Partial saving for variants

Create color variants by saving only the colors. This way you can quickly switch between different color schemes without losing other settings.

Pre-made as foundation

Start with a pre-made template and customize it - this saves time and delivers professional results.

Seasonal designs

Create templates for different occasions (Easter, summer, Christmas) and switch between them quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I export or share templates?

Currently, templates can only be saved locally in the app. An export/import feature is planned for future versions.

Are my templates deleted on app update?

No, your templates are stored in the local ISAR database and remain intact during updates.

Why are images missing when I apply a template?

Templates don’t save images (logo, app icon). You need to upload these separately in the branding area.

Can I edit a pre-made template?

No, the pre-made templates are immutable. Apply them and save the result as your own template.

How many custom templates can I create?

There is no limit. You can save as many custom templates as you want.

What happens when I save only colors in a template?

When applying, only the colors are overwritten. All other settings (typography, spacing, widget themes) remain unchanged.

What is the difference between the new and old templates?

The new templates (Playful, Elegant, Tech, Nature) offer complete widget themes and are optimized for specific use cases. The classic templates (Material, Cupertino, Dark, Corporate) cover the basic styles.

Can I expand partial templates later?

No, but you can always create a new template with more options. The content selection is saved per template.
