Review & Submit
The final step: here you make the final entries (admin account), and BLOCQ checks all requirements automatically. Once all required checks are green, the submit button is unlocked.
Create the Admin Account
Section titled “Create the Admin Account”On this page you create the admin account for your published app. You’ll use it later to manage content and settings in the finished app.
- Admin PIN (at least 4 digits) – protects updates and the admin area.
- Admin email – the login email of the admin account.
- Password (with confirmation) – the login password.
Where the account is created depends on whether the Firebase Auth module is active:
| Firebase Auth module | Admin account target |
|---|---|
| active | Account is created in your Firebase (customer project) |
| inactive | Account is created in the BLOCQ database (fallback) |
Email and password are asked for in both cases – only the target differs. The info hint on the page tells you which of the two targets currently applies.
Pre-Submit Checklist
Section titled “Pre-Submit Checklist”At the very bottom of the page – below all entries – the wizard shows a checklist of all required conditions. It updates instantly and live: as soon as you enter the PIN, confirm the DPA, or complete the admin account, the corresponding item turns green immediately. Each item displays its current status:
| Check | What Is Verified |
|---|---|
| Bundle ID | Unique app bundle ID configured |
| App Icon | 512×512 px icon present |
| Screenshots | Screenshots uploaded for all required device sizes |
| Privacy URL | Privacy policy URL set |
| Store Account | App listing in ASC / Play Console confirmed |
| Credentials | API key / service account provided |
| ASO Texts | App name and description filled in |
| Compliance | All compliance sections confirmed |
| Admin PIN | PIN (min. 4 digits) set |
| Admin Email | Valid email entered |
| Admin Password | Password set and confirmed |
Fixing Failed Checks
Section titled “Fixing Failed Checks”If a check shows a red or orange status, tap the entry. The wizard jumps directly to the step where you can add the missing information.
- Tap the failed check entry
- The wizard opens the corresponding step
- Add the missing information and save
- Return to the checklist – the check should now be green
Submitting the App
Section titled “Submitting the App”Once all required checks are green:
- Review the summary (platforms, version, description)
- Tap “Submit App”
- BLOCQ starts the build and submit process
- You receive a confirmation once the submission was successful
Tracking Store Review Status
Section titled “Tracking Store Review Status”After submission, the wizard shows the current review status of both stores:
Apple reviews each new version manually. Typical timelines:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Waiting for Review | Submission successful, review pending |
| In Review | Apple reviewer is actively checking the app |
| Ready for Sale | App is available in the store |
| Rejected | Apple did not accept the app |
Google Play reviews apps typically in an automated and partially manual process.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Under Review | Google is reviewing the submission |
| Published | App is available in the store |
| Rollout | Staged rollout (e.g. 10% → 100%) |
| Rejected | Google did not accept the app |
After Publishing
Section titled “After Publishing”After a successful release:
- You can restart the Publish Wizard at any time to submit updates
- Already completed steps are skipped automatically
- Only changed areas (e.g. new ASO texts or new screenshots) need to be gone through again
