It depends on your target audience:

  • Younger users: 14-16px content size is sufficient
  • Older users: 16-18px for better readability
  • General: 14-16px is a good compromise
  • Normal (400): Modern, subtle, but titles stand out less
  • Medium (500): Slight enhancement, good for subtle hierarchy
  • Semi-Bold (600): Good compromise, clearly recognizable headings
  • Bold (700): Maximum contrast, very dominant titles

The font is set globally in the Theme Suite. In the Wiki Editor you only adjust size and weight.

Why does the preview look different than in the actual wiki?

Section titled “Why does the preview look different than in the actual wiki?”

The preview only shows sample text. In the actual wiki, the text in your articles will be displayed with the chosen settings. Proportions may appear slightly different depending on content length.
