In the Features tab you decide which areas of the Nutrition module are active. Each toggle shows or hides a whole functional area. Some functions require additional active modules (soft dependency) - the editor points this out.
Function Description Default Recipes Recipe area with ingredients, steps and image On Meal plans Plan meals in day or week view On Food diary Daily logging of kcal and macros (always private) On Goals Personal kcal, macro and water goals On
Function Description Default Automatic nutrition calculation Sums kcal and macros from the values entered per ingredient (per 100 g) On Water tracking Water logger in the diary with a daily target Off Shopping list Personal shopping list: add ingredients straight from a recipe or generate them from a meal plan Off Group by recipe Shows the personal shopping list grouped by source recipe (only when the shopping list is active) Off
No external food database
The automatic nutrition calculation does not access an external database. It sums up only the values entered when creating an ingredient (kcal and macros per 100 g). This keeps the data under your control and works offline.
Personal shopping list
When the shopping list is active, recipes show an “Add to shopping list” action and the Nutrition home screen shows a cart icon that opens the personal list. There you can check items off, delete them individually, or clear the whole list. With Group by recipe , entries are bundled by their source recipe – with a “View recipe” button per group. When the toggle is off, you get a flat list where identical ingredients are merged across recipes. The personal shopping list is always private (per user).
These functions revolve around interaction with other people’s recipes and require a login.
Function Description Default Required module Bookmarks Save recipes On Login (Firebase Auth) Likes Like button on other people’s recipes Off Login (Firebase Auth) Comments Comments on recipes Off Login (Firebase Auth) and Profile / Members
Likes only on other people’s recipes
Liking and reporting only work on other people’s recipes - a self-like or self-report on your own recipes is not possible.
Comments need two modules
In addition to login, comments require an active Profile / Members module so that comment authors have a profile. If it’s missing, the toggle stays hidden with a hint.
Function Description Default Required module Trainer assignment Trainers assign meal plans to clients Off Workouts
If trainer assignment is active and the Workouts module is present, trainers can assign nutrition plans directly to their clients. The assignment appears where trainers manage their clients (in the Workouts module).
Optional Workouts coupling
Coaching is an optional bridge to the Workouts module . Without an active Workouts module the toggle stays hidden with a hint.
