Recipients & Opt-In
The Recipients & Opt-In tab is where you set the global defaults for all forms. The concrete recipient addresses are maintained per form in the Forms tab - this tab is about the overarching rules.
Double opt-in as default
Section titled “Double opt-in as default”- Enforce double opt-in (default) - determines whether new forms work with email confirmation by default. This value is only a preset: for every individual form you can turn opt-in on or off separately.
How does double opt-in work?
Section titled “How does double opt-in work?”If opt-in is enabled for a form, delivery happens in two stages:
- The user fills out the form and taps Submit.
- Instead of sending right away, your app sends an email with a 6-digit code to the user’s address. The application is initially set to “Pending”.
- The user enters the code in the app.
- Only after a successful confirmation is the PDF generated and sent - to the admin recipients and (if enabled) as a copy to the user. The status changes to “Sent”.
Recipients - in brief
Section titled “Recipients - in brief”Every form has at least one fixed admin recipient address (required) and optionally a copy to the user. The filled PDF is always sent as a file attachment. You’ll find these settings directly on the respective form in the Forms tab.
