Features

In the Features tab you switch individual module functions on or off. The defaults fit the classic branch procurement use case.

Ordering comfort

Live stock requires the warehouse module

Live stock only works if the warehouse module (internally warehouse) is active and the product is linked to a warehouse article. Without an active warehouse, the field stays empty and the refill suggestion is based solely on the par level. It is an optional soft dependency - the module also works without it.

Par level / refill suggestion

The par level is the target quantity per product (see Products). The refill suggestion calculates:

Scenario	Suggestion
Without warehouse	Par level (you simply refill up to the par level)
With warehouse	Par level − live stock, rounded up to the next case pack

Example: par 24, stock 10, case 6 → need 14 → rounded up to 18 (3 cases).

Approval workflow

When the approval workflow is active, a submitted order first moves to the status Awaiting approval. Only once a person with the procurement.approve permission approves it is the supplier email sent. More under Orders.

Four-eyes principle

The approval workflow is useful when branch staff are allowed to order, but a central office should double-check before sending - for example for budget or duplicate orders.

Quantity rules

These switches control which quantity rules are enforced when ordering. The concrete values (MOQ, case pack, maximum quantity) are maintained per product.

Minimum quantity

Setting	Description
Enforce MOQ	Prevents quantities below the minimum order quantity stored per product

The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is set per product in the product form.

Case pack

Setting	Description
Enforce case pack multiples	Quantity must be a multiple of the case pack

Example: case pack 6 → orderable are 6, 12, 18 … but not 7 (1 = no restriction).

Maximum quantity

Setting	Description
Enforce maximum quantity	Prevents quantities above the maximum stored per product

Protects against typos and oversized orders. The maximum quantity is set per product.
