Behavior
In the Behavior tab you define how a survey behaves while being filled out. Many of these settings can additionally be overridden per survey when you create it in the question builder.
Fill mode
Section titled “Fill mode” Default
All questions appear below one another on a scrollable page. Fast for short surveys.
Focused
Each question gets its own page with a progress bar and Next/Back. Good for longer or guided surveys.
Timer & completion time
Section titled “Timer & completion time”| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Show timer at the top | Shows the person the elapsed time. |
| Measure completion time | Records the fill duration in the background – visible as average duration in the analysis. |
Exit warning
Section titled “Exit warning”When Warn on exit is active, a prompt appears as soon as the person tries to leave the survey early (“Your answers so far will be lost”). This prevents started answers from being lost by accident.
