Onboarding & Magic Setup

When you first launch BLOCQ, a guided Onboarding walks you through the setup. In the Magic Setup you describe your business and app via a prompt — and BLOCQ automatically builds a fully configured app with matching modules, theme, content and structure.

At its core, the Magic Setup is an AI-powered app builder: you write a prompt describing the app you want (industry, audience, tone, desired features) — and BLOCQ generates automatically:

Matching modules

The right modules get activated (e.g. Menu, Orders, Feed, Chat).

Theme & design

Colors, fonts and widget styles are suggested.

Content & structure

Pages, navigation and example content are prepared.

Ready to go

After setup you can use the app immediately and keep refining it.

In addition to the prompt, you can optionally provide a URL — this can be any website (your own company site, a social profile or a directory listing).

BLOCQ analyzes the page and extracts automatically:

Logo

Your company logo is detected and imported.

Colors

Your brand colors are extracted from the website.

Texts & description

Company description, tagline, contact info.

Images

Mood and product images for your app.

Bonus: Automatic data import for recognized services New

Section titled “Bonus: Automatic data import for recognized services ”

If BLOCQ’s URL analysis detects a supported service (either directly as the URL or linked from your website), the Magic Setup goes one step further: your entire catalog is imported automatically — including categories, products or services, prices, descriptions and images.

Lieferando

Full menu with categories, dishes, prices and images.

Takeaway.com

Menu import just like Lieferando — detected automatically.

Wolt

Restaurants, cafés and delivery services with complete menu.

Treatwell

Services, categories and prices for beauty & wellness.

  1. Start the Onboarding — the Magic Setup opens automatically on first launch.
  2. Describe your app via prompt — write down what kind of app you want: industry, audience, features, tone.
  3. Optional: enter a URL — any website, social profile, or a direct link to a service like Lieferando/Treatwell.
  4. Analysis — BLOCQ analyzes prompt and URL, extracts logo, colors and text. If a supported service is detected, products/services are imported as well.
  5. Preview — you see the generated result: activated modules, theme, and optionally imported categories and entries.
  6. Confirm & go — your app is immediately ready to use and can be further customized in Edit Mode.

The Magic Setup also works completely without a URL. In that case everything is based on your prompt — BLOCQ picks suitable default colors, generic logo placeholders and example content. You can adjust everything afterwards in the Theme Suite and the module editors.

InputWhat BLOCQ produces
Prompt onlyModules, theme suggestion, example content, structure
Prompt + any URLAdditionally: logo, brand colors, texts, images
Prompt + URL with detected serviceAdditionally: automatic product/service import

No. The URL is completely optional. The Magic Setup builds your app from the prompt alone. With a URL the result becomes more personal — BLOCQ then also imports your logo, brand colors and additional brand information.

Does the URL have to point directly to Lieferando / Treatwell?

Section titled “Does the URL have to point directly to Lieferando / Treatwell?”

No. You can enter any URL — your own website, a social media profile or a directory listing. If a supported service like Lieferando, Takeaway, Wolt or Treatwell is linked from there (or the URL points to it directly), it’s detected automatically and its data is imported. Individual profile URLs on these platforms are recognized as well.

The AI-powered data import is part of the one-time Onboarding on first launch. After the Onboarding you edit your categories and entries directly in the corresponding module editor.

Yes. If the source page provides product images in a structured way, they are imported directly and stored in your module.

The Magic Setup imports all categories and entries it finds on the source page by default. For very large menus / catalogs the import may take a few seconds.

Currently Lieferando, Takeaway.com, Wolt and Treatwell are supported. More platforms from food, beauty and other industries will follow.
