Notifications

In the Notifications area you control which push notifications Inventory Management sends. There are three types.

Default: off

All push types are disabled by default. Enable only the ones that make sense for your workflow.

The three push types

Type	Recipient	Trigger
Stocktake assignment	Assigned counters	An admin assigns a counting session to a person
Transfer request	Destination branch / authorized people	A branch requests a transfer
Minimum stock	Responsible people	An article’s stock falls below its minimum stock

Stocktake assignment

Informs the assigned counters that a stocktake is planned for them — so they know when and for which branch they should count.

Transfer request

Goes to the destination branch (or authorized people) as soon as a transfer is requested — so the confirmation does not get stuck.

Minimum stock breach

Warns as soon as an article falls below its minimum stock — as a prompt to reorder or transfer.

Requirement: Notifications module

The push types only work when the Notifications module is active. It is a soft dependency:

Module not active

If you enabled a push type but the Notifications module is not active, a warning box appears with a button to activate it. Without an active Notifications module, no pushes are sent.

Changing settings

1. Open the Inventory Management editor
2. Switch to the Notifications area
3. Enable the desired push types
4. Tap Save at the top right
