Access & Behavior

This is where you decide who can see and upload what and which rules apply to uploads. These settings are spread across the Scope & Visibility and Behavior tabs.

Enable the scopes you want available in your app. Every active scope appears as its own tab in the frontend.

  • My files (personal) - every user has a private area.
  • Team - shared area for a group.
  • Everyone (global) - area visible to all users.

For Team and Everyone you decide who may upload there:

  • Everyone - any logged-in member may upload.
  • Admins only - only app admins may upload; regular members just view the files.

In the My files scope, every user may upload into their own area.

  1. The user taps Upload.
  2. If they’re at the top level, a selection dialog asks for the target scope (Mine/Team/Everyone) and optionally the target folder - only scopes they may upload to are shown.
  3. If they’re already inside a folder, the file automatically inherits that folder’s scope.

Sets the initial sorting of files:

  • Name (ascending/descending)
  • Date (ascending/descending)
  • Size (ascending/descending)

Limits the number of entries shown at once. 0 means unlimited.

  • Storage per user (MB) - maximum storage per user. 0 = unlimited. The remaining quota is checked before every upload.
  • Maximum file size (MB) - the largest allowed single file. Files that are too large are rejected before upload. 0 = unlimited.

Controls which files may be uploaded:

  • All - no restriction.
  • Images only - image formats only.
  • Images & documents - images plus common document formats.
  • Custom list - you specify the allowed file extensions yourself.
