Store Accounts & App Listings

Before BLOCQ can submit an app, the developer accounts must be registered and the app listings in the respective stores must be created manually. This step is one-time only – on the next publish it will be skipped once the confirmation is in place.

  1. Register at developer.apple.com (annual fee)
  2. Activate your membership – this usually takes a few hours to a day
  3. Tap “Go to Apple Developer” in the wizard – the wizard opens a guided walkthrough (ProviderGuide)

Manually Creating an App Listing in App Store Connect

Section titled “Manually Creating an App Listing in App Store Connect”

Creating a new app listing in App Store Connect (ASC) cannot be automated – Apple requires you to perform this step yourself.

  1. Sign in at appstoreconnect.apple.com
  2. First register your Bundle ID (App ID) in the developer portal under “Identifiers → App IDs” (type “App”, “Explicit”) and enable the “Sign in with Apple” capability there as the primary App ID
  3. Go to “My Apps” → ”+” → “New App”
  4. Select the platform iOS, enter the app name, primary language, the Bundle ID (shown to you in the wizard) and a SKU, and set User Access to “Full Access” – without Full Access, BLOCQ cannot publish automatically later
  5. Confirm with “Create” – the listing now appears in your app list
  6. Under “Price and Availability”, set the price ($0.00 / free, all countries) and enter the copyright in the app information
  7. Return to the BLOCQ Wizard and tap “I have created the app”

  1. Register at play.google.com/console (one-time registration fee)
  2. Complete the account activation
  3. Tap “Go to Google Play Console” in the wizard – the wizard opens a guided walkthrough (ProviderGuide)

Manually Creating an App Listing in the Play Console

Section titled “Manually Creating an App Listing in the Play Console”

The app listing in the Google Play Console is also created manually.

  1. Sign in at play.google.com/console
  2. Tap “Create app”
  3. Select the default language and app type, agree to the policies, and tap “Create app”
  4. The app now appears in your app list with the status “Draft”
  5. Return to the BLOCQ Wizard and tap “I have created the app”

Once you have created both app listings, confirm this in the wizard. BLOCQ saves this confirmation – on the next publish run, this step will be skipped automatically.

PlatformWhat You Confirm
iOSApp listing created in App Store Connect
AndroidApp listing created in Google Play Console

After the confirmation, the wizard moves to Credentials.
