Services Editor
The Services Editor is the heart of your booking system. Here you configure everything related to online appointment bookings, payments, cancellations and the presentation of your services.
What is this module for?
Section titled “What is this module for?”The Services module is suitable for all industries that offer appointments or bookings:

Overview
Section titled “Overview”The editor is divided into ten areas (tabs):
Opening the Editor
Section titled “Opening the Editor”- Open Edit Mode in your app (App Builder Tools)
- Go to Modules & Features
- Tap on Services and then on Edit or Settings
- The editor opens with all configuration options
Editor Interface
Section titled “Editor Interface”The Tabs
Section titled “The Tabs”At the top you’ll find ten tabs that you can switch between by tapping or swiping:

Saving
Section titled “Saving”Unlike other editors, you need to save manually here. Tap the Save button in the top right to apply your changes.
Legal Requirements in Germany
Section titled “Legal Requirements in Germany”If you offer services online, you must comply with various legal requirements:
Price Indication Regulation (PAngV)
Section titled “Price Indication Regulation (PAngV)”What you must do:
- Enable price display in the catalog
- Ensure that “per hour” is displayed for hourly billing
- The total price must be visible before completing the booking
Services Directive (DL-RL)
Section titled “Services Directive (DL-RL)”The EU Services Directive requires certain information obligations:

Right of Withdrawal for Online Bookings
Section titled “Right of Withdrawal for Online Bookings”Recommendation:
- Get confirmation to start the service during booking
- Point out that the right of withdrawal expires with provision of the service
- For deposits: Clearly inform about cancellation conditions
GDPR for Customer Data
Section titled “GDPR for Customer Data”Personal data is processed during bookings (name, email, phone). You need:
- Privacy policy with reference to booking data
- Legal basis: Contract fulfillment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR)
- Retention periods: Define how long booking data is kept
Terms and Conditions for Services
Section titled “Terms and Conditions for Services”Recommended content for your terms:
- Contract conclusion - When does the contract come into effect?
- Cancellation conditions - Which deadlines apply?
- Payment conditions - Deposit, payment on site
- Liability - Exclusions and limitations
- Warranty - For defective performance

Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”For Service Providers with Many Staff
Section titled “For Service Providers with Many Staff”- Enable Provider selection required - So customers can choose their preferred staff member
- Show Provider photos and reviews - Builds trust
- Configure working hours individually for each provider
For Service Providers without Customer Appointment Selection
Section titled “For Service Providers without Customer Appointment Selection”If you want to assign appointments yourself:
- Disable Online booking
- Use the system only for internal management
- Bookings are created manually via the admin area
For No-Show Prevention
Section titled “For No-Show Prevention”- Enable Deposit required with at least 20%
- Enable 24h reminder and optionally 1h reminder
- Configure a no-show fee of 100%
- Set free cancellation to at least 24 hours before the appointment
For Flexibility for Customers
Section titled “For Flexibility for Customers”- Allow rebooking with 2-3 attempts
- Set free cancellation deadline generously (48h)
- Enable the waitlist for fully booked appointments
Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”How do I save my changes?
Section titled “How do I save my changes?”In the Services Editor you must save manually. Tap the Save button in the top right as soon as you’ve made changes.
Can I have different prices for different providers?
Section titled “Can I have different prices for different providers?”Yes! Each provider can have individual durations and thus also different prices for the same service. Configure this in the provider area under “Service times”.
How does the waitlist work?
Section titled “How does the waitlist work?”When an appointment is fully booked, customers can put themselves on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available (e.g. through cancellation), the first person on the waitlist automatically receives a notification and has a certain time (configurable) to book the appointment.
Can I offer group appointments?
Section titled “Can I offer group appointments?”Yes, enable the “Allow overbooking” option in the Time Slots tab. This allows multiple customers to book the same time slot (e.g. for courses or workshops).
What happens with a no-show?
Section titled “What happens with a no-show?”If a customer doesn’t show up, you can mark the booking as “Did not appear”. If the no-show fee is enabled, the corresponding amount becomes due (if online payment is configured).
