Legal Pages
Both stores require a privacy policy URL. Support contact and imprint are also required fields. In this step you decide which URLs to use.
Privacy Policy
Section titled “Privacy Policy”Apple and Google require a publicly accessible privacy URL. You have three options:
Choose this option only if your app processes absolutely no personal data and the stores explicitly classify a privacy URL as not required. In most cases, a privacy URL is mandatory.
“No privacy policy” is a deliberate, valid choice: once saved, the legal-pages step counts as done and the wizard won’t route you back here. The review checklist won’t block the submit either. You do, however, carry the risk of store rejection if a privacy policy is required after all.
You already have a privacy page on your website or an external service. Enter the full URL (e.g. https://yourdomain.com/privacy).
- Tap “Enter your own URL”
- Enter the URL of your existing privacy page
- Tap “Save”
BLOCQ provides you with a URL at blocq.app/privacy/<your-app-id> where you can host your privacy text.
- Tap “Host with BLOCQ”
- Enter your privacy policy text in the text field
- The URL is generated and saved automatically
Where the URL Goes
Section titled “Where the URL Goes”| Store | Process |
|---|---|
| Apple App Store | The privacy URL is automatically submitted to App Store Connect by BLOCQ |
| Google Play | The privacy URL must be entered manually in the app listing in the Play Console |
The wizard shows you a note after saving with the Google Play URL that you need to enter manually.
Support Contact
Section titled “Support Contact”Apple and Google require a way to contact app support.
- Enter a support email address (e.g.
support@yourdomain.com) - Optional: enter a support URL (e.g. a contact form or FAQ page)
- Tap “Save”
Imprint
Section titled “Imprint”For apps with users in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, an imprint is legally required.
- Enter the URL of your imprint page, or
- Select “Host with BLOCQ” and enter your imprint details directly
Next Step in the Wizard
Section titled “Next Step in the Wizard”After saving all legal page URLs, the wizard moves to ASO Texts.
